Why else would you choose a username such as:
I choose not to bother to accept such usernames when they send me contact requests. They are easily forgettable. They are no proof that you know how to do what your username claims. I guess these people think they found the best idea to become popular fast. Well, I got news for you. We see these expressions and their numerous variants in titles or articles, RevPages, campaigns, not only here but on other social networks, traffic exchanges, classified ads. I'm sorry, but if you wanted to stand from the crowd, you failed utterly. How do I call you? "Hey, get paid now, how are you?" You mean your name is written in your profile? I have to go to your profile every time if I like to use the first name when writing a message to someone?
I find that annoying.

some people are afraid to receive flak if they dare mention to a friend there is a problem. For instance, everybody would love to be told that they have bad breath, the earlier in the day the better, but would not mention it to someone they meet :)

Lets' learn from our mistakes! Though I haven't tried this but I have seen plenty that you and I know.This sentence I quote: How do I call you? "Hey, get paid now, how are you?" What if it was the title? Anyway, to others who have seen this in your friend, please correct them.

I agree! Then they use numbers after it when the name is taken on a site so you wind up with "getpaidnow 23654356"! Mine has stuck for years, I new it was right when even my kids said it was weird! I use boatdiver everywhere online- Gmail and yahoo are the only 2 sites I have had to amend my name in the last 5 years!

Excellent points Phil - of course those of us who have been around for ever and started this as a hobby kind of cringe at the usernames we use dp1hod what does that mean? I forget but it seemed oh so cool at the time....
