Hydraulic Equipments Manufacturers Power Industries

engineering is widely used in industries based on fluid mechanics to generate
power and pressure through liquids. Where high pressures are necessary,
hydraulics are safer, more energy efficient and practical in use since they
need less maintenance and are more reliable. Typical advantages of using
hydraulics in industries are:
- Compact
units take up less space yet deliver more power
- Total
control of force
- Rugged
and reliable performance under exacting conditions
- Durability
and safety features can be incorporated for fail safe operations
- High
density of power and force, not possible in mechanical systems
- Easy to
repair and maintain.
At
the heart of any hydraulic based equipment such as press brakes, presses and
lifting equipments you will find a hydraulic pump powered either by an electric
motor or a diesel/petrol engine. Fluid, usually mineral oil, circulates in a
closed loop through valves and powers the piston. Safety features are
incorporated in case of leaks or jams. Today, hydraulic
equipment manufacturers offer custom equipment controlled by
microelectronics for smoother operation and better safety. Modern hydraulic
systems incorporate valves and controls
along with micro-electronically controlled sensors to obtain feedback and
actuators that control high resolution valves. Efficiency of products has
increased due to better design and engineering, resulting in less power hungry
and more powerful hydraulics in a compact form factor. This is of special
significance in mobile equipments like fork lifts, excavators and dumpers that
mainly rely on hydraulics for power to carry out the required operations.
In
today’s context of high energy costs, hydraulics usage saves a lot of energy
besides contributing to durability of equipments. If a machine needs 50 KW to
carry out a specific process, using hydraulics reduces the power need to less
than 5 KW. This technology is also clean and environment friendly since the
equipments have very few moving parts. Reduced noise is another advantage. Machines with this underlying technology can
generate any amount of power. Rotary motion can be converted to linear motion and
vice versa and the question of torque is also nicely taken care of in
hydraulics. Incorporating safety features is also easy with pressure relief
valves and locking devices. Compared to pneumatics, hydraulics can deliver more
power and do it at a lower cost with compact equipment. Compared to electrical
or mechanical power, hydraulics are far ahead on all counts.
Industries
using hydraulic equipments rely on components such as hydraulic power packs,
valves, actuators, pressure relief valves, directional valves, proportional
valves, shut off valves, load cells, hoses, hydraulic oil, rubber seals,
cylinders and pistons either for use as original equipment or as replacement
parts for maintenance. Since high pressures are involved in such devices, it is
absolutely essential to pick only quality components that will stand the test
and will perform even in extreme conditions without breaking down.
Even
engineers do not know all about the science behind this technology and rely on
hydraulic equipment manufacturers to recommend components for their products
that match specifications and performance expectations.
