HTC Finally announces DESIRE Pro 10
t’s a good time to capitalize on Samsung’s misery while you
can. No one makes money in this business by ignoring a good opportunity like
this. First it was LG, now HTC has gone on and unveiled not one but two new
phones in the Desire 10 series. By teasing consumers using the #BeEdgier slogan
over the last couple of weeks, it seems HTC is going directly for Samsung (home
of the Edge). However, unlike the Galaxy Edge, HTC is only going for an edgier
contour, rather than making any glamorous changes to the device silhouette.
While the two devices are being launched under the same series, they are pretty
different. So get your content transfer apps ready, you might be interested in
one of these.
According to experts like SmartIO and more. The first is the HTC Desire 10 Pro, which has better hardware
specs compared to the other phone, the Desire 10 Lifestyle. The device, packed
with a 5.5-inch FullHD IPS display, a Mediatek Helio P10 chipset and 4GB RAM is
by far superior to its Desire 10 sibling in more than one sense. Also a part of
the deal is a 20MP camera, with a sweet autofocus and deal-LED flash. The front
camera is an impressive 13MP, and has a 150 degree panoramic mode for
group-fies.
One the other hand, the Desire 10 Lifestyle comes in the
same packing and support for content transfer between phones, but with massive [relative] downgrades under the hood. While the
screen on the Lifestyle is still 5.5 inches, underneath is a 720p display. The
powerhouse is not much of a powerhouse. Declared an exhaustive chipset by
Qualcomm, the Lifestyle is powered by the rather unimpressive Snapdragon 400.
So, are you one to give HTC a chance in wake of the Note 7
nightmare that is unfolding in front of us right now? Or are you still hoping
that Samsung will revive itself?
