How will you achieve your Goals?

by Jayant Harde Our associates have a rich corporate experience of

*1. "Act As If"* In order to achieve a goal, you must become the kind of person who is capable of achieving that goal. And one of the best ways to do that is to act "as if" you are ALREADY that person.

Think about it like this:

  1. How will achieving that goal impact you on a personal and professional level?
  2. What important knowledge, skills, and experience will you have gained?
  3. What will your mindset and behavior be like?
  4. What new habits will you have formed in order to achieve your goal, and
  5. How will you act?

Get clear on these answers and then show up in the world as if you already are that person - and the universe will respond to you in kind, giving you the opportunities and resources you need to make your vision a reality.

*2. "Get Comfortable With Being Uncomfortable"* Everything you've ever wanted is just beyond your comfort zone.

It's true - in order to become who you need to be to achieve your goals, you have to leave your comfort zone and take on challenges you've never experienced. How can you make this process easier for yourself? By getting comfortable with being uncomfortable.

  1. Say "yes" to opportunities you normally pass on.
  2. Take risks.
  3. Do something that scares you.

The more comfortable you get at leaping into the unknown, the more new skills and experiences you'll acquire and the greater your self-esteem will become.

*3. From 'I Can't Into 'I Won't"* "I can't" are the most disempowering words in the English language. All too often we limit ourselves by saying we "can't" do certain things:

I can't quit my job

I can't go back to school I can't get a loan

I can't write a bestselling book I can't lose weight

I can't forgive my ex

But nearly all of those "I can't" statements are false! The truth is, you WON'T do those things - because you don't want to put in the time or effort, or because they are simply not a priority to you at this time.

So every time you find yourself saying you "can't do" something, consciously transform it into an "I won't" statement instead. You'll be amazed at how empowering it feels.

The 3 examples above are just a small sampling of the life-changing mindset and behavior lessons you learn. I would like to share one additional concept with you called The 3 M’s.

*The 3 M’s stand for: Mindset, Meditation, and Mastermind*.

Most of us don't take the time to focus on these 3 very important concepts in our everyday lives. We think they don’t make as much difference as taking action for example, or writing out our goals. But the 3 M’s are absolutely vital parts to achieving success.

I attribute much of my success to having a positive mindset, a meditation practice, and being part of a Mastermind Group (Knowledge and Motivation).

So take some time to digest this information, and then start utilizing the power of the 3 M’s in your life.

I know it will make a huge difference as you continue to create the life of your dreams.

I attribute much of my success to the importance of mindset, meditation, and masterminding. They have contributed much to my life and you too can enjoy their benefits as well with a little effort.

Changing your mindset and the way you think about the world around you will open you up to new possibilities happening all around you. Meditation will help increase your self-confidence and expand your awareness among many other things. Masterminding will help hold you accountable for your own personal growth and development.

*1. Mindset: The Importance of Mindset*

Study after study has shown that the mind is an extremely powerful instrument. Things most people thought was impossible, were later achieved by scientists, athletes, business people and everyday individuals, simply because they believed they could and they persevered.

You may have heard the famous quote from Napoleon Hill – author of the classic personal development book, Think and Grow Rich – who said:

*“Whatever the mind can conceive and believe, it can achieve.”*

That belief, by the way is a choice. It’s simply a thought you decide to think over and over again until it becomes automatic. Scientists know that our belief about whether something is possible is a byproduct of our life experience. Through a lifetime’s worth of events, our brain actually learns what to expect next. Since our brain expects things to happen a certain way, we often achieve exactly what we expect.

This is why it’s so important to have a believing mindset. Believe it’s possible to achieve something in your life and things will often turn out exactly as you believe they will.

Of course, there’s a negative aspect of belief. Believe that failure or disaster will befall you – and guess what… it usually will.

Positive AND negative outcomes are why it’s so important to hold positive expectations in your mind.

When you replace your negative expectations with positive ones and begin to believe that what you want is possible, your brain will take over the job of accomplishing it for you.

*2. Meditation: A Powerful Success Tool* Take a couple of weeks a year to spend in stillness and silence. It helps to relax, de-stress, go deeper into your essential self and open yourself to the inner guidance that you receive during these times. Once you catch up on your sleep after the first two days and enter into a deep state of peace, the insights, ahas, and breakthrough ideas that come to you are usually very profound and useful in your daily life and work.

Another reason to attend meditation retreats regularly is that you drop into a deep space of unconditional love for yourself, your wife, the fellow participants at the retreat, and for people outside the retreat—your students and humanity in general. Living in this state of unconditional love and acceptance is one of the most fulfilling experiences life has to offer.

While you are of meditating for the next week, you encourage all of you to add meditation to your daily practices, even if for only 20 minutes a day. I promise you both the internal and external rewards will be worth it.

*Meditation and visualization has been repeatedly proven to :*

Enhance self-esteem

Expand awareness

Increase memory

Facilitate optimal performance

Evoke a more positive attitude

Accelerate the learning of difficult subject matter.

*3. Mastermind Group - Be A Part of It.* For us Knowledge and Motivation is the Mastermind Group. Actively be a part of and share/express your views therein. If you are a part of any other such groups, be active there too.
