How to Witness Exciting Attractions with Cheap Holidays to Miami
by Amanda Sutcliffe Travel DealsMiami, a gorgeous port city in the
south-eastern part of the United States, gets plenty of visitors every year.
All of them arrive in this part of the world to unwind on its sun-kissed
beaches and explore some amazing art-deco buildings. While getting around in
this city during your holiday, you'll also come across some excellent hotels
with tastefully-designed interiors and elegant nightclubs. Along with a
captivating arts scene and fantastic restaurants, you'll also get to experience
an exciting nightlife during your time spent in this globally renowned American
city.
From the month of June to August, Miami experiences
its summer and families arrive on its beaches in large numbers to get some
sun-tan. It is also a period of rising temperatures and definitely not
recommended if you're looking out for some great deals on hotel accommodations.
However, you can get some discounts on room rates of hotels from September to
November if you choose to ignore the possibility of hurricanes in this season.
Winter arrives in the city during the month of December and stays until
February. If you wish to enjoy your Miami holidays during this time of the
year, you'll have to book several months in advance, as it is a peak tourist
season.
The best time to be in the city is from
the month of March to May, as the spring season is a good time to unwind on its
beaches. To avoid the crowds of college students coming to the city for their
spring break, plan your visit in late April or in the first-half of May.
Located on an island, Miami Beach is a municipality separate from the mainland
city, but connected to it with bridges. While enjoying your cheap
holidays to Miami, you can visit its popular beaches and the
immensely-popular Art Deco District. If you wish to have a wonderful shopping
experience, get to the Bayside Marketplace. It is a large mall with over a
hundred shops, excellent restaurants and cafes, and live entertainment.
Bayfront Park is another exciting place to
visit during your cheap Miami holidays, as it is home to some fabulous
attractions, such as the Pepper Fountain and World War II Memorial. You can
also explore the Vizcaya Museum and Gardens, which was the winter home of James
Deering, a 20th-century industrialist. The entire estate is spread
across 28 acres with gardens that contain several sculptures, pools, and
fountains. The Cuban district of the city, known as Little Havana, is also
worth visiting for its overall Latin feel and some great options in entertainment.
You'll also be delighted to visit the
American Airlines Arena, which hosts large concerts and special events of famed
performers. Opened in the year 1999, it can accommodate over 19,000 individuals
and is an energy-efficient building with LEED certification. A visit to Jungle
Island would give you the opportunity to witness nearly 2,000 varieties of
exotic plants along with a variety of wild animals and birds. You can also
explore a section called Parrot Jungle, which entertains visitors with entertaining
presentations of reptile encounters and nocturnal creatures.
