How to Use Cat ET Diagnostic Software Comma Separated Value?
Cat ET Diagnostic Software Data Log Viewer allows the *sdf file to be
exported as a Comma Separated Value *.txt file that can be imported
into other applications, such as Microsoft Excel.
Note: If the service tool is unable to read the data, "Unavailable" is inserted into the *.txt file.
Instructions
To view the data in an Excel spreadsheet:
Open the Microsoft Excel program.
Select “Open” from the File menu. The Open dialog box is displayed.
Select “All Files (*.*)” from the File type drop down.
Locate the data file. The path is shown in the File text box of the Data Log Viewer screen.
Double-click on the file. The Text Import Wizard opens.
Select the Delimited radio button and click Next>.
Check Comma from the Delimiters area and make sure no other delimiter is checked.
Click Finish. The data is displayed in an Excel spreadsheet.
