HOW TO UNLOCK SAM IN THE OUTER WORLDS COMPANION QUEST?

Complete The Cleaning Machine Quest

Players need to accomplish The Cleaning Machine quest to unlock Sam, and they can do it by heading to the Captain Quarters in the Ship. Thereafter, they need to use the stairs to move to the third level, and then they require to check the Sam unit lying in the Supply Closet. Make sure that Sam is not functional yet, and it is the player’s duty to get him steady to work.

Players need to take favor from the computer of Unreliable, which lies in the front section of Ship, and then the computer will instruct the player to read the logs of the Captain in the quarters.  After that, players need to go to the quarters and locate an entry that stated with a mark of SAM. Players will read the log and then get to know that Sam also requires the latest Acid Steeper.

Find Acid Sweeper

Players can locate the Acid Sweeper by heading to Roseway Garden to proceed towards it. Thereafter, players need to locate Storage Facility lies at the south of the landing pad.

 Players will find some Marauders inside the Storage Facility, and now players need to dispatch all these Marauders. Once the player successfully dispatches all of these Marauders, they will get a prompt to insert a password to enter the area. Players ac locate the password by getting it from the Auntie-Biotics Lab, and there inside the gateway players will locate Acid Steeper alongside 7200XP as a reward.

Register Sam Unit

After attaining Acid Sweeper, players need to get back to Sam, which lies on the 2nd floor. Players need to look at the Robot and will reward with a 7200XP as a bonus, and then Sam will ask the players to register. Players need to say Yes, and then Sam will start working on the Ship. Sam has the ability to oppose damage and thus obtain a+10 bonus to Intimidate and a +20 damage from auto chemical alias. Besides that, there are several more abilities that Sam possesses, such as high jumping and slam down the enemies by throwing acid on them.
