How to Stream Xbox One Gameplay on Twitch and Mixer

Casual gamers or game enthusiasts, everyone loves to stream Xbox One gameplay on Twitch. Nowadays, it’s as common as playing games. However, setting up a stream isn’t that easy. While popular Twitch streamers use a lot of complicated devices, an Xbox One user can set it up for free.

How to stream Xbox One on Twitch?

Obviously, the first thing has to be downloading the app before you start streaming.

To download the Twitch app:

Step 1- Go to the ‘Store’ option you can see on the dashboard.

Step 2- In the search bar, type ‘Twitch’ and click on search.

Step 3- Once you click on the Twitch app icon, you will be redirected to the official site of the app.

Step 4- Click on the ‘Get’ button to download the app.

Step 5- When the app is downloaded in your Xbox One Console, you can find it in the ‘My games & apps’ section.

Connecting Your Twitch and Xbox Accounts:-

Now once this is done, what you need to do is establish an initial connection using your PC to see if your Xbox is able to broadcast your twitch account or not. For that –

Step 1- Open the official website of Twitch from your browser and sign in.

Step 2- Go to your Xbox One and click on the Twitch app icon to log in. A 6-digit code will be generated.

Step 3- Now on your computer, go to the special aviation page and enter the code. Once you enter the code, you can stream your games on Twitch.

Step 4- To stream, start choosing from the list of games. Once you select it, click ‘A’ on your controller to start the game.

Step 5- Hit the Xbox button and a guide will open. Now, select the Twitch app and click ‘A’ again to launch it.

Step 6- After laughing, you will see a ‘BROADCAST’ option on the app. Choose it by clicking ‘A’ on the controller. Here, you will find an ‘Enter a title’ field. Click on it by tapping ‘A’ again. Now you can enter a name for your stream.

How to stream Xbox One on Mixer?

Again, first, you have to download the app to start the streaming process. Mixer is Microsoft’s app of choice for streaming your Xbox One gameplay.

To download the app

Step 1- Go to the ‘Store’ option you can see on the dashboard.

Step 2- In the search bar, type ‘Mixer’ and click on search.

Step 3- Once you click on the Mixer app icon, and the download will begin.

Step 4- When the app is downloaded in your Xbox One Console, you can find it in the ‘My games & apps’ section.

Step 5- Open the Mixer app and connect it to your Microsoft account. Microsoft will automatically create a Mixer account for you when you first try to broadcast a game using the console. So, there’s no linking the account.

Setting Up A Stream On Mixer:

Step 1- Start with clicking the Xbox button on your controller to bring up the menu on the screen.

Step 2- You will now find a ‘Broadcast’ option. Click on it.

Step 3- Go and choose ‘More options’.

Step 4- A box will appear where you can enter a name for your stream and before broadcasting.

Step 5- On your controller tap on the ‘B’ button. A Broadcast menu will open in front of you.

Step 6- Now finally, select the ‘Start Broadcast’ option and the streaming will begin.
