How to solve GM MDI connection problem?
Newly developed GM MDI Multiple Wireless Diagnostic Interface with Wifi can be connected via WIFI and via USB cable.
1) What to do if GM MDI can not connect with USB interface?
--Check USB cable connections.
--Check Firewall Settings on your PC.
--Make Sure that only one MDI interface is connected to your PC using USB.
--Check The USB driver has been installed on the PC and find out the device name ETAS USB Remote NDIS Network Device 'under Network Connections.
--Try To connect with other USB ports
2) What to do if GM MDI can not connect with Wireless interface?
--Make Sure the wifi card is well inserted in the GM MDI device
--Power Up the MDI and wait all LEDs on the wifi card illumining
--Verify The MDI and PC are within range of the Access Point or Router.
--Verify That the PC is connected to the Access Point or Router.
--Check The well network communication of PC.
Check Firewall Settings on your PC,
Connect to MDI via USB and run MDI Manager to verify the Wireless Settings. Make sure they all configured correctly.
