How to Sign Up for the AWS Service
Sign Up for the Service
If you don’t already have an AWS account, you’ll need to get one. Your AWS account gives you access to all services, but you will be charged only for the resources that you use. For this example walk-through, the charges will be minimal.
The Amazon Web Services (AWS) Free Tier is designed for such a purpose to enable you to get hands-on experience with these AWS Cloud Services. The AWS Free Tier includes services with a free tier available for 12 months following your AWS SIGN-UP date, as well as additional service offers that do not automatically expire at the end of your 12 month AWS Free Tier term.
After creating your AWS account, you can use any of the products and services for free within certain usage limits.
When you sign up for Amazon Web Services (AWS), your AWS account is automatically signed up for all services in AWS, including Amazon EC2. You are charged only for the services that you use.
With Amazon EC2, you pay only for what you use. If you are a new AWS customer, you can get started with Amazon EC2 for free.
