At the beginning, your first shot will fly all over the place and it is a little bit upsetting but, remember that you are an amateur, you are just going to make it happen. So, keeping patience is the key to success. To get the best performance in the start, there are a few turning points that you need to learn and utilize. If you do all those things perfectly, you are surely going to be succeeded.

Posture

The stance is a skill that you will be improving for years in your archery carrier. If you have the best bow in the world and a terrible stance, your shots will still fly all over the place. From the beginning, you have to learn all about it to get a perfect shot. It is the first step of taking the shot sequence. The step is very critical and it will enable you to set yourself properly for stability and posture. All of those will help you to achieve body rotation and alignment properly.

Guidelines to a correct stance: To set a perfect stance, your head should be placed in a 45-degree angle towards the target. Your feet should be kept parallel. You have to spread your legs with a distance of 16-22 inches. It can vary depending on your body length.

The grip

Gripping is a very important part. You should not keep your hand tight.  A lot of beginners keep their hand tight because they think that the bow will fall down on the ground or fly in the sky. Actually, it does happen; it can break the concentration of aiming and control over the grip.

Gripping is simple than you think. Hold your grip hand in front of you, and image about a ‘V’. Make your hand look like a V between your thumb and index fingers. Hold the grip normally. Don’t hold as tight as you can’t be comfortable.

The Draw

You don’t need to have many types of equipment to make a shot, but you need to use the components smartly to perform it well.

At the time of drawing, you must keep your “holding arm” straight.  Don’t move it too close or extend your hand at the time of drawing the string. In case of any need for helping your arm to draw the bow towards you, you need to draw weight high. Adjust the target and your arms until you and your muscles are prepared for shooting.

Aim

Aiming is not so much tough but it takes too much time for getting the maximum skill. It is a lifelong process. The more you practice, the more accuracy you will get. If you have good sight and measurement skill, you can improve it fast. Gather a lot of experiences to be perfect and amazing at aiming.

After gathering all the skills of bow hunting, go for hunting and achieve your target safely.
