How to Safely Use Gas Cylinder: Some Important Tips

by Armstrong Louis HR

Pure natural gas is colourless and odourless and thus, it is hard to detect if there is any kind of leakage in the gas cylinder. This pure natural gas is composed of methane and has an unpleasant odour comes from the traces of mercaptans which are usually added, to identify a gas leakage. The odour may be similar to the smell of rotten eggs.

A person detecting the odour must instantly evacuate the area.
