Step 3: Reset homepage

For Google Chrome users:

1. Start Google, click tool button  → Settings.

2. Enter On startup, hit Set pages.

3. Reset Google Chrome as your homepage. If you succeed, you will see google.com as your homepage

For Firefox users:

1. Open Firefox, hit the upper right button  → Options

2. Find Home Page under General. Input the homepage URL you want into the Home Page bar.

For Internet Explorer users:

1. Start IE, click the gear tag  → Internet options.

2. Select General → Type your homepage URL in the blank as follow → OK.

Step 4: Remove registries SEARCH.MEDIANEWTAB.COM generates.

 

1. Press win key  + R at the same time → type regedit → OK.

2. You will see Registry Editor as follow

 

3. Patiently search for and delete registries SEARCH.MEDIANEWTAB.COM generates.
