Hitnews1.org was spotted early in April 2017, has all attributes of a Tech support scam virus. It is a malicious work of Mahul Singh – an Indian cyber crook. He has created this malware to target inexperienced computer users and extort money from them in the name of providing online technical support to fix issue related to the Windows computer. Indeed, at first glance, design of Hitnews1.org look same as Microsoft official customer support page but at closer inspection you can see that the page is photoshoped to adjust fake support number and other details regarding fake infection. Whereas misleading websites like Hitnews1.org promote product illegally and surely they don't provide genuine information about the products. Sometimes, redirect virus readdresses your browser to phishing sites where you are forced to complete online surveys. Even, in the name of giving access to the addictive online games or lottery sites, you will be suggested to fill up some kind of forms using your personal identifying information.

First of all, they will try to talk as genuine technician and then they will ask you to provide remote access to your computer using custom version of Teamviewer or other RDP software. When you do so, they just inform you that your computer is compromised with a deadly malware or spyware and your Banking credentials, Facebook login, emails accounts login are at high risk. So that you need to remove the malware that even doesn't exist literally. In the name of providing tech support either they ask you to pay off service fee or install a fake security software. How To Remove Hitnews1.org Homepage From Browser

 

Uninstall Hitnews1.org products or relevant programs via Control Panel
Windows 8/8.1

In the Programs and Features window, make sure that program you wish to remove is selected and then click Uninstall button.

Windows 7/Vista

Click on Start button, click on Control Panel and then click on Uninstall a Program under Programs.

Search for and click on the Hitnews1.org application or relevant program and click on Uninstall button.

Windows XP

Click on Start button, go to Control Panel and then double click on Add/Remove Programs. From the list of all programs installed on your system, select the program associated with the hijacker and click on Uninstall/Change button.

Remove Hitnews1.org from Internet Explorer
Step1. Remove the Hitnews1.org New Tab extension from IE

Click on the gear icon in the top right corner of the IE browser or click on Tools and then click on Manage add-ons.

Click on Toolbars and Extensions on the left and search for the add-on you want to delete and click Remove button.

(Please note that the extensions are not listed under the Hitnews1.org brand and they could be under the brand name of the extension, such as Filmfanatic, FromDocToPDF and Weatherblink, that is installed on your computer. Step3. Remove the search engine you don’t want from Chrome.

In the Chrome settings menu, locate to Search section and click on Manage search engines… button.

In the pop-up Search engines screen, highlight the search engine you want and click on Make Default. Locate the unwanted search engine and click X button to remove it then click Done button.

 

Clean up Hitnews1.org from Mozilla Firefox

Step1. Remove Hitnews1.org New tab from Firefox browser

Click on button or click on Tools and then click on Add-ons from the drop-down menu.

In the Extensions tab, search for the add-on you wish to remove and click Disable or Remove button.

 

Sometimes, you are allowed to check the option that remove the Hitnews1.org home page and restore to your previous settings when the extension uninstall confirmation dialog appears.
