HOW TO REMOVE BITDEFENDER FROM MAC OR PC?

Removing Bitdefender on Windows

Firstly, write ‘Programs’ in the search bar.
Then, choose ‘Add or Remove Programs’ in your Windows 10 device. Otherwise, choose ‘Programs and Features’ if you are using Windows 7 or Windows 8.1.
After that, with the help of the search box search and choose Bitdefender Antivirus.
Next, choose Uninstall.
Then, again press Uninstall.
If it needs administrator approval, provide that.
Note that Bitdefender might ask if you wish to move further of the uninstallation process.
Choose Yes for giving confirmation for the same.
As soon as the removal procedure gets completed, choose Finish.

Removing Bitdefender Agent from Windows

Firstly, write ‘Programs’ into the search box and choose ‘Add or Remove Programs’ in Windows 10. Otherwise, choose ‘Programs and Features’ if you are using Windows 7 or Windows 8.1.
Next, find ‘Bitdefender’ one more time.
Then, choose the Bitdefender Agent.
After that, choose Uninstall.
Next, click on Uninstall one more time.
Then, give some time to this process of un-installation to get over.

Removing Bitdefender on Mac operating system

Firstly, visit the Finder.
Then, press on Go.
After that, click on Utilities.
Next, click on BitdefenderUninstaller for beginning the uninstallation task.
As soon as the pop-up menu gets displayed- It shall ask you to give confirmation to the selection, press on Uninstall.
If required, give your administrator password.
Lastly, give some time for the uninstallation task to get over.

Fully remove Bitdefender on Mac operating system

Firstly, go to Macintosh HD.
After that, press on the Library.
Next, search for the Bitdefender folder.
You can press and move the folder to Trash or else do a right-click on the folder and press on ‘Move to Trash’. If it needs your administrator password, provide that.
Note that the Bitdefender symbol might be present in the Dock. If it is, do a right-click and press on Options followed by Remove from Dock.
Next, search for Macintosh HD.
After that, press on the Library.
Then, tap on Application Support.
Next, search Antivirus for the Mac folder. It is the location for quarantined things. If you wish to remove these as well, then press and move the complete folder to Trash.
