How to prepare your computer for AVG installation

Does your computer meet AVG system requirements?

Is the Windows operating system up to date?

You can check this information by visiting the Microsoft Windows Update page . It is recommended that you open the shortcut using Internet Explorer. If new updates are available, install them and go back to this article.

Do you use other protection software than AVG?

If you use other antivirus or security software such as firewall, anti-spyware, or anti-malware applications, be sure to uninstall them before installing AVG. Using more than one security software may cause problems with AVG installation and slow down your computer.

2) Look for the product in the list, then click Paid Version if you want to buy AVG, on trial version to install the license for a 30-day trial version or free version for AVG Free.

3) Download the latest version of the installation file.
