When you are planning for a corporate party or an outing from Brampton Ontario, there are a few things you should keep in mind. For a corporate party, there are many venues you can book while for an outing, there always are Brampton Party Bus rentals available.

Things to keep in mind

For admission fees and ticket sales:

You can charge the event fee and sell the tickets for the events only after the approval from the City of Brampton.

The right to provide ticket production services is reserved by the City of Brampton.

The event organizer can establish the admission fee and the Event Support Liaison will guide in establishing a fair admission charge.

 Serving alcohol:

You can serve alcohol at the event only after obtaining the Special Occasion Permit from AGCO, the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario.

You can get the Special Occasion Permit for private events, public events, and Industry promotional events.

In the case of an outdoor public event, you will have to send an Event Notification Letter with sitemap and event details for the SOP application at least a month before the event.

The Special Occasion Permit should be in the name of the event organizer and a copy of it must be submitted to the Event Support Liaison at least two weeks before the event. On the day of the event, it must be kept handy for inspection.

You should abide by the Liquor License Act and make sure that the alcohol is only bought and sold under the applicable SOP from an authorized Ontario winery or brewery. Serving alcohol to minors is illegal.

There should be food options and various non-alcoholic beverages as well.

 Vehicle Traffic Control:

Park Lands By-law 161-83 controls the operation or parking of vehicles including the Brampton Party Bus service within the City of Brampton parkland. Failure to abide by the rules will result in fines and also in the cancellation of the event.

Other important things to keep in mind

All the large festivals and events in Brampton is supported by Tourism Brampton through their social media channels, annual Brampton Visitor Guide, and websites. For the required security at your event, you must consult the Event Support Liaison for Corporate Security and Risk Management and they will advise the appropriate measures you must take for ensuring security in your event.

The event or the trip organizer must submit the security plan to the Event Support Liaison at least 45 days before the event otherwise your event might get canceled. And the event organizer is responsible for covering all the expenses for security services.

Brampton has some strict rules about planning a corporate party and outing. You can find everything about it on the city’s website and you must abide by them. Otherwise, the Event Support Liaison can cancel your party and there is absolutely nothing you will be able to do about it. For the outing, you can always hire the Brampton Party Bus to take you anywhere you want.
