  • Recognize Your Targetted Audience

The initial and most important part of the SEO Strategy. It is to recognize your target audience thoroughly and also how they can use the search engines. Because the Search Engine brings the most appropriate results to the users. So your website meets the exact need of the users when they search for something. 


To recognize your audience you have to look at their demographics and psychographics. Demographics include their age, location, gender, income, and marital status, etc. Psychographics include their interests, values, lifestyles, personality, and behavior. According to these stats, you can concentrate on your SEO Strategy and made a better SEO effort.


Let’s take an example, suppose that you are selling books for competitive exams. Your targetted audience should be students who have become graduated in the past years. This can be done by looking, people's demographics and psychographics. Think about what they going to search for and optimize your content accordingly. 


  • Bring Keyword Research

Once you recognize your target audience, you can start researching for the relevant keywords.  This will show you which words or clauses the audience use to search for a website like yours. 


Keywords allow you to target the people who have the chance of converting. 


Keywords also give you insight that what people are exactly looking for. By which you can change your website and their services accordingly to match their needs.


Usually, there are three types of keywords- Generic, Long-tail Keywords, and broad match keywords. Generic keywords are simpler words like “Bike.” Broad match keywords are more specific than Generic Keywords like “Hero Bike.” long-tail keywords are very defined and point to the exact product like “Where To Sell Used Hero Bike.” Ideally, you mainly use broad match keywords but it good to use long-tail keywords sometimes as well.


The key is to target keywords that have a good search volume but low competition. This can help you to rank easily and quicker. You can use tools like KWFinder or Google’s Keyword Planner to research keywords.


  • Use Keywords Excellently

After getting the right keywords, you must put them appropriately, where the Search Engine finds them easily. You must add keywords to your headings, sub-headings, titles, meta-description, headers, URLs and content. And always sure about the keyword density. If it is high then you were penalized by Google.


Google takes articles on websites that are written naturally and do not stuff with keywords. In short, you should ideally keep keyword density at about 0.5% to 1% for long-tail keywords along with semantic and LSI keywords (Lateral Semantic Keywords). LSI is the keywords that are related to the keywords you searched for.


Use your keywords throughout the blog posts and titles to help to improve your rankings. Content is the major part of your website so make sure that you doing it right. Generally, longer articles tend to rank higher in search results than the shorter ones.


  • Optimize your Visible Content

While it’s easy to optimize the text content for your site, but visible content is where it gets difficult. Search Engines are not able to recognize which images and videos are on the website. So, you need to define the visible content through title tags and Alt tags so that the Search engine can read it easily.


The alt text tells a Search Engine what your content is about and why it is on your website. Similarly, the title tag works as the title of your visible content. Always add your focus keyword to the tags to make the content more reliable to the Search Engine. Image and video marketing are distinctly important for a website’s SEO, so make sure you do it right in the right way.


  • Always Made Links

Search Engines use links between pages to regulate how they are connected to each other. Depends on the number of links that are redirecting to your page from another website, they determine its authorities. These links are called “Backlinks.”


The most simple links are called natural backlinks, which will happen when someone links your content free of cost. You can also try reaching out and ask for the links in their content. Writing guest posting on high-authority websites is also a great way to get quality backlinks. Backlinks not only help you in SEO strategy but also increase your traffic and brand awareness.


  • Never forget The Importance Of  Social Media

If your SEO is not get affected directly through Social Media then its never affected indirectly.


Content or posts published on social media is seen by loads of people. And it’s a very great chance that some of them can use your post or content with the link. This can give you a valuable backlink and helps you to improve your rankings in Search Engines like Google and Bing. Moreover, websites like Facebook can give great traffic too. 


The good way to enhance your social media is to keep posting quality content regularly. This can increase your assurance and get you a good fan following which can result in enhancing website authority.
