How to Make the Classic Drinks-

by Nehal P. DialABottle
Martini -

Similarly the Martini is another great test as it is one of the most simple of drinks, made from just two ingredients - gin and vermouth - and will also show whether the bartender exudes the interest necessary to mix this drink to perfection.

While it is easy to make, it is equally simple to get wrong; if they have the experience and get for the job they will have worked out the perfect balance and will develop a show-stopping drink you will not be able to put down.

The martini is one of the world's best known and most popular cocktails, having been immortalised by such drinking greats as Winston Churchill, James Bond and Frank Sinatra. However, currently, half the martinis made in a bar use vodka instead of gin, totally exclude vermouth, are shaken like hell rather than stirred and owe most of their flavour to olive juice. A tragedy indeed.
As vodka is usually a flavourless spirit, and olive juice tastes like, well, olive juice, this poor beverage has become a bastardized victim, a shell of its former self unable to live up to its potential.
If you want to taste what a martini is supposed to taste like, use a good gin (Plymouth constantly treats me right) and a solid vermouth like Noilly Prat. Since the vermouth balances out the gin and is very important to the flavour profile of the beverage, I like to make use of three parts gin to one part vermouth.

A lesser known but classic addition to the martini is definitely orange bitters. Add two dashes of Regan's #6, Angostura Orange or Fee Brothers for a nice touch of orange that blends properly with the various other ingredients.

Ingredients:
3 parts gin
1 part dry vermouth
2 dashes orange bitters

Directions:
Stir (seriously, don't shake it. Cocktails made with all spirits are meant to end up being stirred) all elements with ice until cool. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Skip the olives and twist a strip of lemon over the top to release its oils. Drop it in, if you'd like, and enjoy.

The Mickey Mouse -

Mr. Disney himself would have approved of this a single!! Isn't it so cool. We are very sure that everyone would love it and enjoy this drink after all it's Micky Mouse Drink.

Ingredients:

1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
2-3 drops Tabasco sauce.

Directions:
Shake all substances with ice and strain into an old-fashioned cup over ice cubes.
Add salt and pepper to flavor. Add a wedge of lime and serve.
