How To Make Fun At Home?
- Your home is your sanctuary. You live, sleep and eat there, but there's no reason why you can't have fun there too. You don't have to limit yourself to sitting on the sofa, although that's an option too. Use your free time at home to play and have fun to recharge your batteries, stimulate creativity or even create a sense of adventure. The possibilities are almost endless
- Play children's games
- Play video games. They're not just for kids anymore - if
they ever were. Get out those classic games you love and play like it's
summer 1999 and you've got nothing else to do. It might take you a while
to remember how to play the game, but be patient with yourself. Remember,
this is not work. It's play.
- - If you feel you want more interaction, get someone to
play with you. It doesn't matter if you're both out of practice, it can
still be fun.
- - If you want some physical activity, try the Nintendo
Wii.
- Build a fort. Get out some sheets. Take the couch cushions off the couch. Line them up to create four walls. Then use anything you can find, like books or chairs, to stabilise the cushions as you set them up, and throw the sheet over the top to create a cosy atmosphere. [2] Now decide what you want to do in there.
- - Crawl in and read or watch TV.
- - Pretend you're on an adventure and that your fort is a
small boat drifting across the sea. If you step out, you'll fall into the
sea. It looks like you'll have to stay inside and sleep.
- - Make a joke of calling people while sitting in your
fort.
- Do a jigsaw puzzle. Buy them at a toy store or the
dollar store if you've run out of mind-bending games. Challenge yourself
by making a puzzle with more than 500 pieces, and if you want to make it
even harder, make a puzzle with a picture that has similar colors and
shapes, like a grassy field. The fewer identifying marks, the harder the
puzzle.
- Play a board game. If you're not the only person in the
house, you can make it a group activity to have home fun. Monopoly,
Sorry, Othello and Taboo are a few options for family games. Also try
Twister or Charades if you want to play a more interactive game.
- - Play cards instead of a board game if that's more your
speed. There are almost hundreds of options: there are many hundreds of
games: hearts, spades, tunk, poker, speed, blackjack and cribbage, among
others.
- Play on an instrument. Dig out your old violin from the
closet, or sit down at the piano and play. If you've already memorized a
favorite song, try it out. It probably won't sound the way it's supposed
to, but that's okay. It's for fun, remember.
- - Review scales and notes if necessary. Start with
beginner books if you have any. Since these songs are easier to play, you
might feel more confident and get a sense of accomplishment if you can
play at least or two songs reasonably decently.
- - If you're a pretty good musician but feel you rarely
have the opportunity to play, now's your chance. Practice and give your
own private concert at the end of the evening.
- - Playing an instrument for fun can also have benefits
in your working life. For example, it boosts memory capacity, teaches
stamina and even helps build better organizational skills
- Dance. You don't have to join a club. Your kitchen or living room floor can serve as the perfect dance floor. Dancing at home gives you the chance to practice new moves and experiment with new dance styles without spectators. Put on your favourite music. Let your hair down and just move.
