2. Oil drop tracking method.

Take a piece of clean white filter paper and drop a few drops of oil on it. After oil leakage, a good lubricant is powder free, dry and smooth by hand, with yellow spots. If there is black powder on the surface and it can be felt by hand, it means that there are many impurities in the lubricating oil, so the lubricating oil should be replaced.

3. Hand twisting.

Grind the oil repeatedly between thumb and index finger. Good lubricating oil feel is lubricated, less wear debris, no friction. If you feel a lot of friction between your fingers, it indicates that there are many impurities in the lubricating oil. This kind of oil can not be reused, so you should replace it with a new one.

4. Oil flow observation method.

Take two measuring cups, one of which is filled with the lubricating oil to be inspected, and the other is placed on the table. Then lift the measuring cup filled with lubricating oil from the table for 30-40 cm, and tilt it so that the lubricating oil flows slowly to the empty cup. Observe the flow rate. The high-quality lubricating oil flow should be slender, uniform and continuous. If the oil flow is fast and slow, sometimes the flow is large, it means that the lubricating oil has deteriorated.
