How to Install Ross-Tech VCDS 18.2 Software

Attention:
- VAGCOM cable should NOT be plugged into PC when you install.
- Install “VCDS-Release-18.2.0-Installer.exe” (MUST tick/check on "Install 32-bit EXE on 64-bit System")
- If the installation is successful, do NOT run the software.
- Copy “VCDSLoader.exe” into the installation folder. Which is usually: c:\Ross-Tech\VCDS
- Plug VAGCOM cable into PC. Wait about 20 sec for Windows to auto-install drivers.
- Launch “VCDSLoader.exe” to launch VCDS software. In future, always launch “VCDSLoader.exe” to start he VCDS software.
- Click “Options” -> Test
- Now it can be used as normal.
How to install vag com 18.2.0 update version?
The processor requires 500Mhz or faster; Your computer need to have a usable USB port; and operating system requires better than Windows98. Preferably Windows XP operating system, 1GHz or faster processor. If your computer is not using Windows XP, or if your CPU processor is less than 1GHz speed, you should consider the diagnostic interface for the serial interface.
Install Guide:
step1:
Download your like language software from official website or use our CD software;
step2:
Install software on your PC(interface Must not plug into your PC!!!),Follow the prompts to install software. If your computer is 64bits, please choose option install 32bits to 64bits;
If installing sigh your version is low,whether download newer version, please choose "NO"! When the installation is complete, please choose not to run the software;
step3:
After vcds software installation is successful, then install CD vcds loader(vcds loader is used to activate the device and protection software).
vcds loader installation complete and running it,As VCDS Loader(v1,12) sign to do.
step4:
Plug cable into pc,Click "Register Hardware", it will directly open the folder with the registration file, please copy this file to your supplier;（If we not online, please email to us, and exit your VCDS Loader software,it is not effect your next step.)
step5:
After accepting supplier's registration file, click 'Register' and find where your store register_license_XXXX.dat, then ok!!
step6:
Run VCDS loader to work( one pc only need active one time, then could update online )
This is the upgraded version cable, first time installation is complex, so please be patient to deal with it, this purpose is to protect the interface more stable and safe!
