How to improve machining productivity?
by xiaolong luo cnc machining shopLabor productivity refers to the quantity of qualified products
manufactured by a worker per unit time or the time it takes to manufacture a
single product. Improving productivity is a comprehensive issue. For example,
improving product structure design, improving blank manufacturing quality,
improving machining methods, improving production organization and labor
management systems, etc. As far as technological measures are taken, there are
several aspects:
First, shorten the unit time quota
Time quota refers to the time required to complete a process under certain
production conditions. The time quota is an important part of the process specification,
and is an important basis for arranging the operation plan, performing cost
accounting, determining the number of equipment, staffing, and planning the
production area. Therefore, the reasonable establishment of time quotas is very
important to ensure product quality, improve labor productivity, and reduce
production costs.
Second, the process unit quota includes part
1.Basic
time
The time consumed by a process that directly changes the size, shape,
relative position, surface state, or material properties of a production
object. For laser cutting, the basic time is the manoeuvring time to cut the metal.
2.Auxiliary
time
Time consumed by various auxiliary actions that must be performed in order
to achieve the process. This includes loading and unloading workpieces,
starting and stopping machine tools, changing cutting rates, measuring
workpiece dimensions, and feeding and retracting operations.
There are two ways to determine the auxiliary time:
(1) In mass production, the auxiliary actions are decomposed, the time
consumed is determined, and then accumulated;
(2) In small and medium batch production, it can be estimated according to
the percentage of basic time, and it can be modified and reasonable in actual
operation.
The sum of basic time and auxiliary time is called operation time, also
called process time.
3. Arrange
work time
That is, the time consumed by a worker to take care of the work place
(such as changing tools, adjusting and lubricating machine tools, cleaning
chips, and cleaning tools, etc.), also known as service time. Generally
calculated based on 2% to 7% of the operating time.
4. Rest
and nature take time
That is, the time workers spend in working shifts to restore physical
strength and meet natural needs. Generally calculated as 2% of operating time.
5.
Preparation and end time
That is, the time it takes a worker to prepare and finish a job in order
to produce a batch of products and parts. Including familiar with drawings and
process documents, receiving rough materials, installing process equipment,
adjusting machine tools, delivering inspections, sending finished products,
returning process equipment, etc.
In addition, the use of various quick-change tools, tool fine-tuning devices, special tool setting templates, automatic tool change devices, improving the service life of tools, regular arrangement and placement of tools, fixtures, measuring tools, etc., can reduce the time and space of the layout work. Service time has practical significance for improving labor productivity.
The use of advanced cnc machining equipment (such as CNC machine
tools, machining centers, etc.) to gradually realize machining and measurement
automation is also an inevitable trend to improve labor productivity.
