Edit SkipRearm Key

In case you intend to edit the SkipRearm key, then you can opt to follow the below-mentioned guidelines.

  • Hold the Win + R keys at the same time on your system to launch the Run section.
  • After that, input ‘regedit’ into it and select the OK button to launch the Registry Editor.
  • Reach the Windows Registry Editor and go to the pursuing location: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindows NTCurrentVersionSoftwareProtectionPlatform.
  • Go to the right-hand side panel and find the SkipRearm button.
  • You should twice click on the SkipRearm button to launch the Properties.
  • Navigate to the Value data section and input 1 then select the OK button.
  • Now, shut the Registry Editor and check whether the error is solved.

 

Edit CleanupState and GeneralizationState Keys

If the users are trying to edit GeneralizationState and CleanupState keys, then they should carefully apply the given steps.

  • Hold the Win + R keys at the same time on your system to launch the Run section.
  • Thereafter, input ‘regedit’ into it and select the OK button to launch the Registry Editor.
  • In the Windows Registry Editor and go to the pursuing location: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMSetupStatusSysprepStatus.
  • Go to the right-hand side panel and find then twice click on the ‘GeneraliazationState’ button.
  • Reach the Value data section and input 7, then select the Ok button.

Fix Windows 10 Image

  • Thereafter, input ‘cmd’ into it and select the OK button.
  • Select the Command Prompt, and right-click on it, then choose Run as Administrator.
  • Go to the command prompt, type the pursuing command, and press the Enter key: DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth.
  • The over mentioned will execute an instant health check and identify it. There is any data corruption that requires repairing.
  • In case any problems are identified, you should rebuild the Windows image through the pursuing command: ‘DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth.’
