1. Choose Excel’s Review option.
2. Hit the Unprotect sheet option.
3. If the sheet has protected with the password, then you need to put your password in the field to open the windows dialogue.
4. Tap on the OK button.
5. The Break link option will maybe not grey out.
6. Choose the data tab.
7. Tap on the Edit Links option.
8. Choose the links listed and click on the break link section.

 

2) Delete Named Cell Range

Here are the steps on how to delete cell range:-

1. Tap on the formula tab.
2. Hit the Name Manager option.
3. Choose all the name range seen here.
4. Hit the delete button to delete it permanently.
5. Tap on the OK button to confirm the command.
6. Now the complete reference available name listed in the name manager will be deleted.
7. Tap on the close button.

 

3) Clear Data Validation Rules From Sheet

Here are the steps on how to clear data validation rules from the excel sheet:-

1. Hit the select all button that appears on the top left of the worksheet.
2. Hit the data tab.
3. Hit the data validation option.
4. Choose the data validation button.
5. A dialogue box appears on the screen that asks to clear all.
6. Tap on the OK option on the window.
7. You can also repeat the above steps for other sheets in the spreadsheets.

 

4) Checking Break Link Excel Add-In

The Break link Tool is a part of the Excel add-in tools which cab provide user to remove all the reference from Microsoft Excel worksheet rapidly. The add-in tools are not available for free, but you can use it one week free as a trial.

To download add-in tools, tap on the download icon in the Break link tool page and install it into your device. If the add-in tools are installed into your computer, then you can see a Break link button on your home tab. To open the tools tap on the ass-in tools icon on your Home tab, and then tap on the Select all button to select all the break tools in the settings. Tapping on the Start option removes all the links available into your Excel sheet.
