Checking Connection on “Echo”

Before going further, it is recommended to check your Wi-Fi connectivity on your “Amazon Echo” device. To do so, follow these steps:

  • First of all, navigate to the lowermost portion of your Echo device. Now you will find an LED power light that works as the indicator for internet connection.
  • Now, Make sure that the light is flashing white for a strong connection. If not, then you have no “Wi-Fi” connectivity.

Note: In case of no internet or Wi-Fi, the available LED will flash orange light.

  • It works the same for other screen systems or devices of the “Echo.”
  • If the issue still exists, then follow the next steps or instructions.

Restarting Your Echo

If you wish to fix your Echo by restarting method, then follow these steps:

  • First and foremost, you have to disable your “Echo.”
  • Now, deactivate your “Wi-Fi” from all your synced devices and turn the router and modem to “OFF.”
  • Next, you have to wait for a while for nearly thirty seconds for the internal process.
  • After that, you have to turn your router to “ON.”
  • Now, switch your Echo device to get turned “ON” so that it can connect to the “Wi-Fi” first.
  • Next, you should switch other available Wi-Fi systems from other gadgets.

Checking for the Overcrowding of Your Wi-Fi

Make sure that no unnecessary devices are connected to your router. If any, then disable your Wi-Fi from the devices that seem not necessary.

  • Before taking any crucial step, it is recommended to check the Wi-Fi on other devices like your PC, smart TV, tablet, and smartphone. If the connection is not establishing, then it’s the case of your Wi-Fi.
