The State Eligibility codes are the codes given to the students and the students have to choose the state code from where they had passed the 10th and the 12th Board exam or any other similar examination. That is they just have to enter the state code of the state where their school, college lies.
All the candidates who are planning to apply for the JEE 2017 examination will be required to fill in the State Code of Eligibility in their application form and the registration process. CBSE has issued the Codes for all the states along with a detailed information brochure.
