How to Excel at Mobile Phone Photography?

by Selena Cass IT SUPPORTS

All of us want to get fabulous images on our smartphones, but we don’t know how? Don’t worry, get through these tips and you will become a pro at mobile photography.

  1. It is all about the light

No one can deny as this is an ultimate truth. Good light will help you in capturing a good image. Have you ever seen the shadows that are made by the sun on the subjects? Pay attention towards the reflective lights off buildings. Notice it during the golden hour or at the time after the sunrise or the sunset. Check how does the light fall inside the room from windows at a different time in a single day.

Your iOS smartphones and the Android ones will work well when there is daylight. Do not rely on artificial lights.

  • Do not zoom your phone

Never zoom on your phone. Maybe this is the sole reason that you have been capturing a bad image for a very long time. If you have to zoom then take help of legs and move right after. Zooming on mobile tools is not at all good.

  • Do not shake your phone

The camera gets shook when pictures are overlooked. You need to prepare how you should operate your smartphone.

  • Keep it horizontally not vertically
  • Do this to give your image a wider frame.
  • If you are capturing an image of moving objects, then try burst mode.
  • Know what will you be using for the shutter

You can see many things including a software shutter switch, a holder or a timer, sometimes volume on headphones. Users will get to a place where you can capture images without shaking the camera. The results are going to make you happy for sure.

  • Yes, it is all about the angles

Try to change your perspective about things as merely changing the angels on a single shot is going to give you a perfect picture. Change out the angels, and you will get a great shot. Try this out, Move towards the ground while capturing an image, climb over that building, get to side and capture as soon as possible. You will experience some different world.

  • Use apps

Mobile photography is good because of several apps that are specially made for smartphones. Some of these applications are genuinely helpful in giving you good pictures. Users can edit their work by this. If you can't do anything about the lighting, then use those subjects that promise acne free and sharpen images. Users can even add interesting text over a photo.

  • Cleaner Glass= Clearer Picture

It is a thumb rule. Clean out the glasses of your lens. If your windshield is dirty, then you clean it for a better view. Clean the camera lens for improved results and sharper view.

  • Quality AND Quantity

Just keep trying. Practice is what makes man perfect. Try taking different shots. Better the shots, better the quality. While shooting more photos, you will be at ease. Just keep checking your phone’s storage as it may cause trouble. You will run out of the storage space. Make a balance by deleting the previous ones that aren’t captured well.
