2. From the equably powder, taking 100 grams of magnesium oxide powder to put into constant and dry beaker. And then, making it wet completely after adding 400 grams of clearwater.
3. Putting the beaker into drying baker. This drying baker has already been set 110℃. After 2 hours or more, set the temperature to 150℃ until drying the sample to constant.
Activity Computing Method: the activity of MgO =【（W—100）/45】X100%
In this equation, 100 is the sample weight before hydration. W is the sample weight after hydration. 45 is conversion ratio.
Note: in order to get more accurate numerical value, you can take triplet 100 grams of magnesium oxide powder. And counting up the last numerical value from three times, and dividing three.
Point that needs attention:
① During the heating process, you should avoid slurry sloping beaker.
