How To Delete MySoundClub.com Virus Fully

 

Step 1. Delete weemi.com from the system.

To delete weemi.com extension from your PC, you should use “Uninstall the program” tool depending on your operation system.

Windows XP: Start —> Control Panel ––> Add/Remove Programs. Choose the weemi.com extension in the list of installed programs by a right-click and press “Remove”.

Windows 7: Start ––> Control Panel ––> Uninstall a program. Just the same actions: right-click on the weemi.com extension in a software list and press “Uninstall”.

Windows 8/8.1: Right-click on Start ––> Quick Access Menu ––> Control Panel ––> Uninstall a program. Choose a weemi.com extension among a listed here programs, right-click on it and then press “Uninstall”.

STEP 2: Reset Your Browser's Home and Search Pages (Optional)

Depending on the web browsers you have installed and use, please follow instructions for each browser below. Reset Internet Explorer homepage and search

  1. Open Internet Explore.

  5. Click “Settings” button in the “Search” area,open “Manage Add-ons” panel.

  8. Close and restart Internet Explorer.

Reset Firefox homepage and search

  1. Open Firefox.
  2. Click "Open Menu" on the right-top and click “Options” open “Options” panel.
  3. Click “General” tab.
  4. Delete the homepage link and set a new homepage link. Or click "Restore to Default".
  5. Click "OK".
  6. Choose “Manage Search Engines” in the search list.
  7. Choose the url or "MySoundClub.com" and click "Remove",then click “OK”.
  8. Close and restart Firefox.

Reset Chrome homepage and search

  1. Open Chrome.
  2. Click “Customize and control Google Chrome” in the right-top of the page and click "Setting".
  3. Click “Set pages” link of "On startup" ->delete the homepage link and click “OK”.
  4. Delete the homepage link and set a new homepage link. Or click "Restore to Default".
  5. Click "OK".
  6. Click "Change" link of "Appearance" and delete the homepage link for MySoundClub.com and click "OK".
  7. Click “Manage search engines” and delete the url, then click “OK”.
  8. Close and restart Chrome.

 

STEP 3: Cleanup Various Hijacked Shortcuts (Optional)

The infected MySoundClub.com PUP may have hijacked your web browser's shortcuts, so in this step we will need to manually clean them by removing any links within the startup argument. Please note, this step is optional as well because it should have been cleaned up in step 1.

  1. Search for your browser shortcut (Desktop, Taskbar or Start Menu Shortcut), then right click on it and select Properties.
