How to correct gout at home

Gout is a kind of arthritis which may affect various parts of the body such as ears, wrists, joints, knees, ankles, etc. The symptoms generally include swelling, acute-pain, inflammation and intense-tenderness in joints.

Home remedies for gout

There are certain natural remedies for gout which can be done at home.

1. Apple cider vinegar

Apple Cider Vinegar is generally used for treating acid-stomach and headaches but it is also considered to be one of the many gout remedies. The acidity present in Apple Cider Vinegar helps in relieving acute-pain. 
1. Take 1 teaspoon raw and unfiltered Apple Cider Vinegar in one glass water.
2. Have it 2 to 3 times a day.

2. Ginger 

The anti inflammatory features of ginger make it helpful in relieving inflammation as well as pain. There are a lot of ways of using ginger for treating gout.
Take equal amount of turmeric-powder, fenugreek-powder, and dry ginger-powder. Consume one spoon of the mixture in water twice in a day.

3. Baking soda

One prominent factor which contributes to gout is a high level of uric-acid in our body. Baking Soda may help in lowering the quantity of uric-acid on the body and offering you relief from pain.
1. Mix 11/2 teaspoon Baking soda in water.
2. Have this mixture 4 times in a day for 2 weeks.

4. Lemon juice

For getting relief from gout-pain, it’s very important to alkalize your body and also neutralize excess amount of uric-acid from the blood. This may be done very easily with the help of lemon -juice and baking-soda. 
Just mix lemon juice in 1 ½ Baking Soda. Let it settle down till the fizz stops and then pour it in one glass of warm water. Have it immediately.

5. Cherries

Cherries are also considered to be one of the most significant herbal remedies for gout. It has a lot of anti oxidant properties which make it useful for treating gout. It also has anthocyanins which help in reducing inflammation and minimising gout flare ups. 
Have 15-20 cherries in a day for treating gout. 
You may also have cherries juice daily.
6. Epsom salt

Epsom salt is also a very effective ingredient for treating gout. High level of magnesium in Epsom Salt improves the heart condition.

1. For a luxurious bath, just add 2 cups Epsom-salt in warm water.
2. Soak yourself into it till the time water starts to lose heat.
