• Open sage 50 and the file.
• From the main menu select maintain.
•  Select users and setup security.
•  Select the data access/crystal reports tab.

•  Select with the following login information.
• Select change and set a password for the transfer.

Step 5:Download the conversion tool

• Find and open the folder that you saved the file after downloading the tool.
• Right click the QuickBooks conversion icon and select properties.
• Select the checkbox for running this program compatibility for and select from the. dropdown the OS being used.
• Select ok tab.
• Right click the QuickBooks tool setup.exe and select run as admin.

Step 6:Convert the data

•  Select the browse in the conversion tool.
•  Find and select sage 50 company file that is to be converted.
• In the pervasive 32-bit ODBC engine DNS setup window, select the sage 50 company file from the database name dropdown menu and hit ok tab.

• Enter the password and hit next.
•  Select QuickBooks desktop version and edition.
• Select browse and select the folder to save the converted data and hit next.
•  Review what you entered, and select convert file.
• Allow the application and select yes and continue when asked to.
