Now there are many dealers of different brands of cars. But not all dealers are equally good and, most importantly, honest to their customers; some try to cheat. Today, I will try to explain how to choose a car dealership to buy a car.

1) Official website of the manufacturer. A lot of information can be found on the manufacturers' official websites. We open a website and look for a dealer in your city, for example auto brisbane Usually, the address and phone numbers are indicated there, so you can freely use this information. On the manufacturer's website, there are practically no dishonest dealers; they monitor the situation and check each dealer in advance. Therefore, you can be sure that you will not be deceived. It is on the official website that the initial selection should take place.

2) Dealer rating. On the official website of the manufacturer, the ratings of dealers are often indicated, some get the title - "gold" or "platinum" dealer. This suggests that the service and convenience are at a high level and that they prefer to buy cars.

3) Feedback from buyers. After receiving information on the official website, read reviews of ordinary buyers about the dealer on the Internet. Whatever one may say, you will still find a little information, if all buyers (or almost all, more than 80%) write that the dealer is normal, then visit the dealership. 4) First trip to a car dealership. After you arrive at the car dealership, you need to immediately pay attention to the service. Ideally, one manager should work with you, who will immediately come up and unobtrusively offer his services. This characterizes the car dealership on the positive side. If you walk into a car dealership and no one approaches you within the first 10 minutes, although you walk around the cars, this indicates poor service. Either there are not enough people (saving on service personnel), here is no necessary organization, or the managers have little money (no interest) and they all sit at their computers, and they don't care about you! Why is that bad? It's simple! After you buy a car in such a car dealership, everyone will forget about you. If something breaks in the car, then you will have to force normal service out! So pay attention to the attitude towards the buyer! This is really important!

5) Cars in the cabin. Another important aspect is the show cars in the showroom. All models must be open and available to potential buyers. Ideally, it looks like this - you can freely open any car, get into the salon, pull the handles, etc., open the hood to see what's inside, open the trunk to see what's there, and you don't have to have a manager next to you. Many people are shy in front of strangers. If all the cars are closed, let alone they are not in the cabin! And the manager answers - what is there to look at? There is a car, this speaks of the high service of the dealership (not a serious approach), and it is better to refuse it!

6) Test drive. The manager who works with you - either himself or at your request, should offer you a test drive on the car. Must tell and show the car from all sides. In very good showrooms (gold or platinum dealerships), there may be several test cars of different trim levels. For example - one in the maximum version on "automatic," the other in the minimum or medium version on "mechanics." This would be considered a very good dealership. Since several test cars have been bought out, the dealer does not save on buyers. You can find more detailed test drive tips here

7) The cost of the car. Nobody can impose additional services on you. Unfortunately, many dealers attach tens or even hundreds of thousands of additional equipment and say that you cannot buy a car without this equipment! This must be stopped immediately! It is illegal! You can choose additional equipment yourself, but the dealer can’tforce it on you. Read the article - buying a car - additional costs. Personally, I bought a car without any additional equipment since it costs several times more in showrooms. If the dealer doesn't force additional equipment on you, this is a very good salon.

8) Initial payment. After you have chosen a car, you need to order it. Ideally, it will be parked in the dealer's parking lot. But as practice shows, especially from regional dealers, cars are made to order. That is, we make an initial payment and then wait. The down payment must be no more than 10% of the value of the car. It can be  less, but if the dealer demands more, this is not good.
