CUSAT 2016 Result for the respective engineering entrance exam held on 30 April 2016 will be issued in the 3rd week of May 2016. The candidates who appeared in the exam, held by Cochin University, will be able to check it online on the official website of EntranceCorner and the university itself. Marks in the result and corresponding rank will decide merit in the allotment process.   • Result will not be posted to any candidate’s registered residential address. It can be checked online only.

First, access the official website of Cochin University on the computer system. Make sure to have a fast speed internet connection as on the day of result declaration, the website may see peak traffic. Candidates can also use EntranceCorner in this case where direct link will be hosted. The next step is to locate and click the link respective to the result. On clicking this link, result query portal will open. Here, candidate will be asked to enter his roll number, date of birth, and other asked details correctly. Once these details are entered and submit button is clicked, CUSAT 2016 Result will be shown. It can now be printed on A4 size paper for reference.


Importance of CUSAT 2016 Result

Based on the marks obtained by the candidates in the exam, candidates will be selected for admission. At various stages, they will be filtered through application of cutoff. Those who are able to cross the cutoff will succeed to the next level. To qualify the exam, general category candidates must score at least 10 marks each in math, physics, and chemistry. There is no such restriction for candidates from reserved categories however they will be subjected to cutoff in the later stages such as allotment. All the qualified candidates will be arranged in a merit list. Ordering in the merit list will be done in the decreasing order of obtained marks in CUSAT 2016 Result. The highest scorer will be placed in the first position whereas the candidate with marks equal to the cutoff will be placed at the bottom of the list.
