by Oliver P. Hard Work is the Guarantee of Success

Seafood can be a part of most healthy recipes. These recipes are distinguished by usefulness and easiness of a cooking process. The diversity of seafood allows experimenting with taste and satisfying even the most demanding gourmets. Fish considered being full of needed elements for good functioning of a human body but also as a product, which hard to cook in a delicious way. Lots of people can cope with cooking chicken and know the principle of cooking dishes that contain ground beef. But what about fish recipes, e.g. baked cod with ritz crackers sound tasty, but causes a lot of worries about cooking cod properly and what taste it will have. Most people avoid recipes containing seafood and choose more comfortable ingredients for cooking. Many people are skeptical about such dishes but they will be surprised if they try a new fish or seafood recipe.

Why seafood is beneficial for human and what problems it may cause?

Eating seafood has many benefits for your body. Proteins, omega-3, vitamins, antioxidants have a positive impact on well-being. Constant use of fish as food promotes good mood and high immunity. It is the main source of energy. Concerning wild fish, many of it is exposed to toxicity, due to the high level of pollution of water, oceans, and rivers. The problem of fish, grown specifically for consumption, on special farms, can be artificial feeding, which respectively has a negative impact on the human body. Maybe that is the reason why people don't like buying and cooking fish. It is hard to distinguish whether seafood good quality or bad.

What should you know about the most selling fish? How to choose the best one?

Considering the whole animal world, salmon, like a fish, is the largest source of omega 3. However, salmon, which feeds artificially, because of harmful nutrition, can contribute to weight gain and some diseases in human. The meat of salmon, which was subject of chemicals, has a gray color. More healthy fish with low toxicity level has a pink color. This is the main difference which you should consider during buying salmon.

Tuna can concentrate heavy metals in itself if they consume a lot of small toxic fishes. The larger a tuna, the greater the risk, that this fish was exposed to high toxicity with dangerous elements. For more safety, choose a fish of smaller size.

Tilapia taste is similar to chicken taste. Such fish feeds with unhealthy elements and due to the consistency of its meat, after cooking it would have not very pleasant form and taste. If you include fish and seafood in your healthy diet, it is better to not consider tilapia at all.

Crab and lobster are associated with high cuisine. Most people enjoy eating such seafood products. They are the least dangerous. They have the ability to filter all toxins. Their large number in the seas makes it possible to not grow them on farms. Rich in antioxidants, crabs, and lobsters are the best ingredients for healthy recipes.

Shrimp is the most eaten product. Due to its big variety, it is hard to choose the best one. Most shrimps come from North America and Asia. The farms of countries from these continents harm oceans and seas. They have bad fame for using chemicals and antibiotics in the process of growing shrimp. Avoid shrimp imported from these territories.

The only requirement for choosing quality anchovies, mackerel or sardines, that they must be fresh. Due to their short lifetime, they do not have time to accumulate a large number of heavy metals.

Shellfish is the safest option of seafood — they do not absorb dangerous substances at all. They are irreplaceable concerning usefulness.

Do not avoid buying and cooking seafood, as options of dishes containing such ingredients can diversify your healthy diet.
