How to be sure your child has Squint?

Squint is known as Strabismus is a misalignment of the eye. In most cases, parents or family members may notice that one of their children is Inward (Esotropia), Outward (Exotropia). In some cases Upwards (Hypertropia) or downwards (Hypotropia). It should not be ignored and you should see your ophthalmologist for a complete eye evolution as soon as possible. Squint can occur due to refractive error in which case your child can be prescribed power glasses which in many cases squint patching therapy of the good eyes is advised in cases of the lazy eye but is effective only if the child is 8 years old.
