Add your Gmail account

Launch the Settings app.

Select Google from the list of options.
Key in the Gmail account information.

Turn on Notes

For syncing data from your Notes application to Gmail, you have to turn on the Gmail sync.

Open the Settings app.
Tap on Passwords and Accounts.
Select Gmail.
Enable the bar located to the right of Notes.

Add Notes

Once you turn on notes under Gmail, it does not imply that all the current notes will automatical synchronize to Gmail. The Notes application shall create a brand-new segment called Gmail. Hence, only the notes you create in that section shall be available on your Gmail.

Launch the Notes app.
Scroll to the Gmail section.

Access Notes in Gmail
