How Safe are the Child Day Schools?

by Janvi Ahuja Content Developer,SEO Consultant,
A parent’s biggest fear is when their child is out of their sight and they are not able to see them or know where they are. So when they decide that their kid is not of school age and that it is time to send them to a day school, that is one of the most nerve-wracking decision of their lives. Careful inspection and research the various different types of schools and before all that first selecting which type of school to send their kids, should they send them straight to a boarding school or should they keep them near so that they don’t have to be afraid of them sending the kids too far, these are some of the most hard decision a parent has to make.

This decision will affect their child since it will be the first time they will be away from their home and their parents for the first time and thus the transition should be as smooth as possible. Although there are plenty of child day schools in Noida, Gurgaon and Delhi region, but selecting which one out of these is very difficult.

Schools in Noida are especially gaining popularity since they are able to incorporate a more defined school system with many international schools opening there too. But for the parents living in the Delhi region or farther away it can be a problem.

On their part usually a school has to have most of the safety measures like emergency routes, a doctor or nurse on board, a sick room where sick kids can go to until their parents can pick them up and various other things. But still, one can never be too cautious when it comes to their kids’ life, so here are a few points a school should definitely have, and the parents should know about these:

1.Convenience:
The school that should first be considered are the ones closest to one’s residence. Since it’s a child day school then sending a young kid too far from home so soon can be imperative to their development.  And if it is far then the transportation provided by the school should checked properly by the parents.

2.Emergency Procedures:
The parent should be aware of what type of emergency procedures the school takes. At least once a year fire and disaster drills should take place to make not the only the students but others too aware of what one must do in times of need.

3.Sanitation:
The school should have a good, clean and up to date sanitation department, who will be in charge of keeping all the washrooms and other such areas clean and free of germs. Using good quality cleaning equipment and other disinfectants is important too.
