Quartz worktops are synthesized by combining epoxy resin and raw
quartz. The chemical formula of quartz is SiO2.and it is commonly available in

First of all, they put the raw materials inside the mixers and
blend it. During blending, they add various dyes and pigments to it to give

are mixed together are kept aside in a certain proportion, and they pour the
mixture into the mould only when the ratio becomes even and exact. It is a

Secondly, 100 tons of pressure is then applied to the slab under
vacuum to prevent the formation of the air bubbles. They go on vibrating the
slabs to prevent polarization which may otherwise affect the strength of the
quartz worktops.
Thirdly, they take the quartz kitchen surfaces to a kiln for
heating them at a temperature of 90 degree Celsius for approximately half an
hour. This step is essential to bind the stones together completely and the
polymers gain a remarkable strength to work as your worktop.
The final stage is polishing. During this stage, the worktops are polished to acquire matte, semi-gloss or glossy finish. Once the polishing is done, they are supplied to the dealers from where you can easily buy them.
