How Owning An Electrical Geyser Could Be So Beneficial!
Electric geyser is something
that is used almost in every commercial building. For those who don’t know yet,
an electrical geyser is device for heating water and usually use
electric in heating the water, which is inside an insulated storage cylinder.
It is controlled by a thermostat with a knob to put it on or off according to
the desired temperature. Most times, the system is pressurized
How does it work?
The water in the geyser through the
electrical element is heated. It just like when you are using a stove to heat
water in a kettle. For the geyser, it is controlled by the thermostat, which
has a temperature setting. The outlet of top is connected to hot water while
the cold water inlet is at the bottom. Pressure is created when the water
within the geyser is heated up and the hot water then flows to the top of the
outlet where the hot water comes from to the tap. There is also gas water
heater but many most times prefer the electric geyser because of the following
reasons.
The following are the benefits you can
derive when you own an electric geyser over other types
- Safety: This is an important issue
when compared to other heaters. For example, the chances of you having a
gas leak and explosion from it, is very high when compared to the
electrocution from wire that isn’t good. In terms of safety, many people
see it as more beneficial to them than the gas, which when disaster
strikes causes lots of damages.
- Cost
of installation:
Electrical heater isn’t as expensive as gas water heater. Most gas heater
do require a vent for the exhaust. This require more expenses and you have
to install PVC tubing from your home to the top of the roof. But this is
different if you are using an electric water heater, all that is required
is a bare wiring or special outlet for the wires. You don’t have to make
holes through you roof.
3. Unlimited hot water:
Though flow rate determines the amount of hot water the heater can produce, it
can deliver it at that flow rate indefinitely. However, this can also be an
ecological disadvantage, as running out of hot water limits use, but an
electrical water heater provides no such limit.
- Life
expectancy: Everybody
wants sometime that will last them for a longer time. Electric geyser uses lesser parts and most of these parts has
less heat directly. The have a life span that is more than other types of
heaters such as the gas heater or solar energy water heater.
- Cost
of purchase: The cost
of electric geyser is much lesser
compared to the gas heater and other types.
- No
pilot light: When we
still talk of safety, electrical geyser don’t required the use of a pilot
light, which means there isn’t any anxiety of relighting the flame.
