by Michael Mousely Blogger
A floor cleaning buffing machine or simply a buffing machine is one of the most useful floor cleaning machines that people use to buff, clean, and polish floor marbles and surfaces to bring back the original look of the floor surfaces. The current post will discuss what exactly buffing means and how often we would use a buffing machine to clean our floor surfaces.

What Exactly Buffing Means?

Buffing in simple terms is too deep to clean your floor. It removes the dust or dirt layer of the floor and helps to get back its original flossy shine and beauty. By using the right kind of tools or any type of buffing machine for sale you can easily buff most of the floor types, which includes vinyl, concrete, wood, tile, and laminate.
There are two types of buffing: Spray buffing and dry buffing

Spray buffing uses a liquid to remove dirt and dust particles from the floor and create a glossy look. It combines the polishing solution along with the mechanical action of the buffer pad to remove scuffs, level the surface, and to enhance the shine.

Dry buffing is the type of buffing in which the mechanical action of the high-speed buffer is sufficient to smooth the finish and remove all kinds of marks and strains. This type of buffing is used by professional floor care experts who know how to handle a buffer properly.

How Often You Should Use The Buffing Machine?

To clean any commercial place, using a buffing machine once in a month is enough to keep the floors look shiny and new, which will, in turn, will help you to get a nice impression from your clients and employees.

How To Choose The Type Of Buffer To Use?

There are mainly three pieces in the buffing machine which are the buffing pad, spraying liquid for the spray type buffing machine, and the machine itself.
Choosing the right kind of machine that will work best to clean your floor effectively and also that will fit your budget is important. Along with the machine, you do need to choose the right kind of buffing pad that will perfectly go with the material or surface of the floor that you are going to clean.

How To Buff the Floor?

There are several steps that you should follow to buff your floor.

Step 1: Prepare The Cleaning Area
The first step is to prepare the cleaning area before you start with the buffing or cleaning the floor. Because it will make the buffing process easier. Remove all kinds of furniture, and other items that are present in your cleaning area. Roll the carpet and floor sweepers from the cleaning area and then start with the cleaning process.

Step 2: Clean The Floor

A few hours before buffing, you should clean the floor to remove any kind of gunk or debris. Any type of dirt if stays on the floor when you start with the buffing process can turn the floor yellowish over time. So cleaning before buffing is important.

Step 3: Spray The Buffing Solution

If you are using a spray type buffer then spray the solution before you ultimately ready to start buffing.

Step 4: Final Finish

After the buffing process, you need to apply a finish to avoid the tendency of slipping or falling out as buffing makes the floor glossy and shiny. This is the last step of the buffing process.
