How Does Prophet Walter Magaya Help a Follower Find His Purpose in Life?

​​Prophet Walter Magaya, the founder of Prophetic Healing and Deliverance Ministries (PHD), conducts a question and answer session, now and then, with International, Regional and Local Visitors. During one of such sessions, a follower asked him, “How can he defeat devil and find the purpose in life?”

Here is the question and the answer given by the Servant of God Prophet Walter Magaya.

Question: “Man of God how do I know my purpose, the devil has been using me and confusing me and I do not know what I am supposed to do? You are the one who knows what devil has taken away from me please help me.”

Answer by Prophet Walter Magaya

In order to guide this person and encourage him to do walk under the  divine light of Jesus Christ, Prophet Magaya replied, “If you listen to my teaching on purpose before we seek our personal purpose there is one corporate purpose which is key which one must sit in first. What is the corporate purpose? Praising God, when that purpose is satisfied you will start to identify yourself. Our biggest problem is that we are selfish.

We think of ourselves yet the book of Revelations says He created us for His own pleasure. If you do not satisfy this purpose, forget about tomorrow that you will not identify your purpose. You need to present your spirit, soul and body to God first and worship Him. Every human being has a first purpose is to worship the almighty.

We are more like His instrument on earth; when we worship Him He enjoys it whilst He is sited on the throne. It is fundamental to you that you cannot lose. The next thing you must understand is that everyone was created for a reason; you are in the correct time, correct place and you are the correct person, no one is like you, that is why your fingerprints are different from anyone else’s.

The third thing is a human being is a dynamic animal he can do more than five things and is different from a dog. We are unique because we are like God. To identify who you are now you need to search inside you and find what you like the most. That you like the most is your purpose first of all praise God, secondly know that you can do more than five things then thirdly search your heart not what can give you more money because that is the problem with many.

Many people think that their purpose is what can give you more money; No, money will follow your purpose. Money is principled and it will follow purpose. When you stand, money will follow purpose that is why you see that other people arrange flowers or knit for many years and they start to get rich because money follows purpose. Money follows desire. If you just do everything for money, you will never stand for long because when money dries up you will also dry up. The biggest problem with many people is that they are in the diaspora not to follow their purpose but to follow money. They are going for greener pastures not after purpose.

The economic status in Africa has made us all to be vendors but vending must not be your limitation it must be your stepping-stone to enable you to fulfil your purpose. You need to follow the desires of your purpose.

I am into mining and farming but that is not my purpose. My purpose is what I am doing right now. I do all that to add on to my purpose and that is a sign that a human being is dynamic. Whatever you are doing now must be a stepping-stone for you to realize what you are supposed to do. You need to seek out what you desire the most and take that up.

Your purpose might have been running and you have gone past that age. What you need to do is that you should check on your children and empower them with the gift that was in you because God passes it on to future generations.

They will flow with the same blood of running check for that purpose in your children and they will unveil it for you. Do what you are doing and invest on your children. Check your heart, your purpose is not money, money is only a facilitating tool. What is it that which cause you to have sleepless nights? That is your main purpose. The richest place in the world is the graveyard because so many people died without fulfilling their purposes.

The cure for HIV is in the graveyard. People did not identify who they were and they died with the cure with them. So many solutions are available in the graveyard because people died with their gift. When you move around you will be moving around with other people solutions hence it is a requirement that you identify your purpose.”

Through his reply, ​Prophet Magaya emphasized on following your heart despite of running behind money. You need to be grateful to Jesus Christ for giving you a life full of opportunities. Do not just waste your precious life on something that is perishable. Follow your heart, live in the light of Jesus, follow His words and live a life worth inspiring.
