CHANGE DEFAULT PRIVACY SETTINGS

The first way to make your Facebook private is to change default privacy settings. Please follow the steps to change default privacy settings.

Start the process to make Facebook private by opening Facebook and logging into your account
Click on the triangle at the top-right corner of the screen to reveal a menu
Select Settings & Privacy followed by Settings option
You can see two segments, namely, Your activity and How people find and contact you
Next to each option under these two segments is the edit option; click on each and select Friends or Only Me from the audience limit
Finally, select Close to save the changes

CHANGE FRIENDS LIST SETTINGS

The second way for how to make Facebook private is to change the audience settings for your friend's list. Please follow the steps mentioned below.

Go to your profile on Facebook and click on the Friends option
