Here are some possible reasons why your logo doesn’t pull it off

Logos are an essential part of any company and are vital enough to determine the progress of a company. It is said the words, however beautifully put, can be misinterpreted whereas symbols and logos can give a clear message. In spite of all the practices; the logo seems to prove futile. Some of the logo designers in Mumbai have come up with reasons why this happens:

1.       Poor marketing-

A logo that is clichéd can be damaging to the company and spark negative connotations. A generic logo fails to stand out from the competition and does nothing to market the brand.

Design elements should be kept in mind too while fashioning logos like color, shapes, type, layout etc.

Aesthetically speaking, a good logo has to be timeless and should not lose its essence even after being trendy. But being overly trendy can be harmful for the company. Normally a logo fails when it is too flashy or overly fashionable. Designers that design logos that are simple are more memorable and have a long life.

It is normally an empty vessel with no meaning till a company fills it with the quality of its products and services. But if a logo requires multiple messages and various taglines just to explain it to the consumers, it loses its strength.

Neglecting the brand- 

While designing a logo, it’s important to keep the consumer’s choice in mind. A designer should always remember to make the logo for the client and not for himself/herself. Speaking to the client about what kind of an output is expected from you will give you a clear picture of how to work. When the requirements are not clear, the logo will definitely fail to communicate the client’s story.
