During the winter months in most of the countries people prefer to stay indoors due to the cold weather. Parties, functions, get together are difficult to organize in an outside area. There are many outdoor heaters available in the market. According to the space available one can select the most desirable option. Outdoor heaters are suitable during the spring or fall season and can used at patio, deck or any other outdoor space. Outdoor heaters can be categorized according to their specialty.

Types of outdoor heaters

Floor or free standing heaters: These are very popular at restaurants and bars. Floor or free standing heaters are very common as they are very convenient and easy to use. It comprises of reflector, base, heat source and pole. Propane is generally used as a fuel source. But they can also run on electricity or natural gas.

Tabletop heaters: Tabletop heaters are a good way to maintain warmth outdoors. They also add décor to the table. They are made of the same parts as the floor heaters however they have a lower range and hence are suitable for a small area only. They heaters use propane or electricity but the electric version is the most common one.

Wall mounted heaters: They are the best in providing warmth as compared to others. They can be fitted anywhere on the wall where there is a heat source. They are suitable smaller spaces. Wall mounted heaters are normally electric and they make use of infrared heat to warm up the place.
Outdoor heaters fuel types:

v Propane heaters: Propane is the most common fuel that is used in Outdoor Heating UAE. They are available in tanks that are portable. They make the heater very versatile as one can place it anywhere. Wheel kit can be used to move the propane heater easily from one place to another. A separate place is available in the heaters to store the propane tank so that it remains handy and does not take extra space in the room.

v Electric heaters: Electric heaters are the best alternative if you have access to a power source for your heater. They are very simple to operate as it just needs to be plugged in and switched on. The hardware parts in the electric heaters are normally weather resistant but for precautionary purpose it is advisable to store it in a covered area when they are being used. Electric heaters are suitable for smaller areas as due do not have the capacity to warm up larger spaces.

v Natural gas heaters: Natural gas heaters are the most recommended one when placing them in a large outdoor area. To start the heater you just need to connect it with the natural gas outlet and press the ignition switch which is there on the heater. They are usually available for freestanding or floor heaters.
