Railway Recruitment Board of India is the autonomous body that is responsible for the recruitments and placements of jobs in Indian Railways. RRB is also responsible for the recruitment process for various other governmental departments. RRB had recently announced the Group D recruitment for Indian Railways. The post is for the Grade D officers that will be recruited on the basis of two-tier examination for the successful job placement as a Group D Officer. The examination is due in September 2018 and the confirmed dates for the exam will be announced on the official website by the end of August. 
The Admit card for Group D examination will be published on the official website for download 10 days prior to the examination. Even though the dates are still tentative, candidates are advised to keep track of the updates on the official website for early news about the exam dates or Admit card release. The admit card is the document which will contain all the necessary information of the candidate required for the examination. These details will be specifically related to the Group D Examination of the particular candidate. 
The candidate would be required to present the railway group d admit card at the entry of the exam center. The candidate must make sure the admit card is not torn or soiled or misplaced. The candidate must have 2-3 copies of the admit card for any circumstance that may have ended with the loss of admit card. It is necessary that the candidate carries the admit card to the exam center on exam date. In absence of admit card, the candidate will not be allowed to appear for the examination. The admit card that is due in August end is for the preliminary examination only. The admit card for the mains exam will only be issued to the candidates who have successfully cleared the prelim round.

Steps to download the admit card 

  • The candidate is required to visit the official website. 
  • The candidate would be required to choose the Region to which they belong. 
  • The admit card of the candidate will be available on the official website of each regional RRB. 
  • The candidate needs to login into the portal to find the Admit card link. 
  • The candidate will be able to see the admit card on the computer scene.
  • The candidate should verify all the details mentioned on the admit card. 
  • The candidate should download the admit card. 
  • The candidate must take a printout on a white paper, A4 size. 
  • The candidate should get 2-3 Xerox copies of the original to admit card.
