Islam has many pillars that a Muslim must acknowledge and follow as to lead him to the right path and the mercy of Allah (Subhanah wa ta’ala). The last pillar of these is performing Hajj to the Holy Ka’aba in the sacred mosque of Islam. This pillar carries within it the holiness and grace as to cleanse the heart of Muslims and raise them above all sins and temptations of the world. For Hajj is a sacred act in a set time of the year when Muslims head to Mecca Al Mukaramah to do all that is required of them for the completion of this sacred task. Even though it is usually performed once in a lifetime, its effects are strong enough to last Muslims their whole lives.

Just as Allah (Subhanah wa ta’ala) has ordered Muslims to pray and pay alms, He has also ordered them to visit the Hole Ka’bah as proof of their adoration and devotion to Allah. It is through Allah’s divine wisdom that He knows His worshippers’ need for sensing Allah’s greatness and  becoming a step closer to His grace and love. Through leaving the worldly pleasures, even for such a short period, Muslims sense their devotion to Allah and their faith in Him, renewing their goals of achieving Paradise and His blessings. This is shown as proof of their love and loyalty to Allah, purified of any sins or mistakes that were committed in the past.

Allah (Subhanah wa ta’ala) has promised whomever handles the difficulties of Hajj Packages 2017 great rewards; as Mohammad (pbuh) has said: “an accepted Hajj brings no reward but Paradise.” So the reward for performing this duty is greater than any other, taking the performer of an accepted Hajj to Paradise, surely. Also, performing Hajj would be following Allah’s orders in Qur’an: “And proclaim to the people the Hajj [pilgrimage]; they will come to you on foot and on every lean camel; they will come from every distant pass” (Al Hajj, Ayah 27)

Another purpose of performing the holiday is the great effect it has on uniting Muslims and strengthening their bonds, regardless of their language, race, or nationality. For some Muslims would go all the way from distant lands and countries to perform the duty of Hajj and get a glimpse of Allah’s mercy and forgiveness casted them. Muslims would feel a sort of bondage and communication as their ways and their goals are one; worshipping and pleasing Allah. Hence, many displays of affection and love among Muslims would be noted on these holy days of Hajj in Mecca.
