Gum Arabic Side Effects
Gum Arabic, CAS# 9000-01-5, is a complex mixture of glycoproteins and polysaccharides manufactured through extraction and isolation from two species of the acacia tree, available as Off-white to Yellowish Granular or Powder. Gum Arabic is widely used as food thickening agent. It is widely accepted as safe food additive in many countries with E number E414.
General Side Effects
1. Gum arabic can cause gas production, diarrhea, and loose stools
when ingusted in large amount.
