Disney Plus is a video on-demand streaming platform created by Disney streaming services that requires a subscription. The contents on Disney Plus are family-friendly, and they offer multiple genres from sci-fi to animated movies and shows. They offer a wide range of content for all age groups. Parental Control

Disney has kids friendly content, but if you still want to add parental control to prevent yourself from watching too many movies and shows at once, you can do so. Creating a separate profile for your kids will make the procedure easier.

Here’s what you have to do:

Login to Disney Plus account and click on the Current Profile Name option.
Click on Edit Profile and tap on Add Profile.
Select an image for your new profiles and type the profile name.
Switch on the toggle for Kids Profile, and tap on the Save option to secure the changes.

You will be able to limit the videos and shows that are available for your kids. This doesn’t have a proper parental control like Pin Protection, Kid Optimisation, but it still works fine for the primary purposes.

Downloads

Once you create a profile on Disney Plus, you will be able to stream it on four devices at a time, that is more than what other online streaming services provide. You can also download movies and TV shows on up to 10 mobile devices for watching them online. Downloading feature only supports iPhone, iPad, Android phones and tablets, and Amazon Fire tablet. You cannot download your favorite movies and shows offline on your laptop or computer.

Disney claims to allow unlimited downloads only on devices that have available storage space. All the subscribers have to connect to the internet every 30 days so that their downloads don’t get automatically deleted. When you connect to the Internet every 30 days, Disney Plus automatically renews your download licence, and you won’t have to follow any additional steps.

They provide three types of video quality for downloads, i.e., high, medium, and standard. You can make the settings for the video quality from the settings menu. For each video quality, you will be guided about the storage space and time required for downloading the video. You can also tweak the audio format as sometimes when the videos are using 4K audio, but your device doesn’t support 4K, you will be able to make your settings accordingly.
