Growing influence of Eco-friendly Products

There came a time during the economic reforms in the early 90’s when multinational companies began to show up rapidly in the Indian markets and what did they do? They took over the Indian markets by showing them some glossy products with ‘quick action formulas’.

But little did they know that they aren’t staying for long. Whether it be about the usage of the beauty products (especially the skin whitening ones) or something else, people followed them blindly and as a result, they took over the market and crushed the ‘Desi’ brands that relied more on the ‘natural and herbal’ aspect of the everyday products.

Fast forward a few years, people began to realise the harmful effects of all the chemicals used in those products and they knew that they may seem tempting at first, but they come with some really bad long-term side effects. This general awareness finally caused people to go back to their roots.

They finally began realizing the power of our mother nature, and as it is evident, the market for the organic products is increasing each year and that time is near when our ‘grandmother’s recipes’ will be seen getting their worth finally. The point is, Patanjali products claims to be hundred percent organic and quite evidently, they provide better results than the chemical infested foreign and national brands and better yet; they are less pricey. What is not there to love about them eh?

 

2. Himalaya- If Patanjali is at the throne, Himalaya is no less. With the internationally popular Neem Face wash, they began and as the time passed, they went on to more products and today, the cosmetic stores are full of Himalaya Herbals products and about their effectiveness, well, ask any random girl who suffered previously with bad acne. There is about 75 percent chance that some Himalaya product came as a boon in her life.

 

3. Hamdard’s Safi- Infamous for the bad taste, this undisputed boon to mankind is the ultimate herbal product that has revolutionized the average Indian’s perception about cleansing your body from ‘inside out’. It claims to purify your blood, and it does it quite fantastically.

There are many other chemical free and herbal Products and their influence keeps increasing by each passing year and we can easily say that we live in an era where ‘Vicco Turmeric’ is considered a lot better than ‘Fair and Lovely’, finally.
